Oppo Reno 2 Complete Specifications and Advantages

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo unveiled a new smartphone globally in India-Oppo Reno 2. The Reno 2 was just announced for that country today, bringing with it some of the unique, boundary-pushing features that have become Oppo's stock-in-trade. The handset comes with 20x Digital Zoom and 5x digital zoom. A 16MP "Shark fin camera" for ultimate selfie experience makes Reno 2 more one of the most wanna be smartphones for selfie lovers.

The 4,000mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 charging is same in 2Z and all Reno 2 series phones. The Reno2 F comes with an electronically stabilized 48MP Samsung GW1 sensor with the same 8MP wide-angle, 2MP mono-lens and 2MP depth sensor combination as the Reno2 Z. The Reno series smartphones have the distinctive shark-fin style motorized camera that debuted with the Reno smartphone. The device has the same 4000mAh battery pack supporting 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging that's in the Reno 2.

Less than five months ago, Oppo presented the Reno smartphone in China with its subsequent arrival in other markets, and now we already have a successor for it. Sadly, we're still waiting on official price and availability info. For selfies, there's a 16-megapixel pop-up camera with front video bokeh effect. The chipset runs Android 9 OS with ColorOS 6 UI on top.

Honestly, the amount of various camera modes in the Reno 2 are somewhat overwhelming thanks a seemingly endless list of options including Dazzle Colour (which amps up colour saturation), a special "Ultra" macro mode, an Ultra Steady video mode that combines both optical and electronic image stabilisation, audio zoom (like on the new Galaxy Note 10), and more. The device will come with a Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

The Oppo Reno 2 series runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with the company's ColorOS 6.0 skin on top.

The four cameras consist of a 48MP main lens, 13MP telephoto lens, 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP mono lens.

In terms of the tech specs, the Reno 2 comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel. Instead, you get an additional 2MP sensor, making a total of two 2MP sensors.

The front camera on all three models is a 16MP selfie shooter along with an AI beauty mode.

As for the camera, it will also come with a quad-camera setup at the back and will use a 48MP Sony IMX586 camera sensor.

Oppo Reno2 Z has a 6.53-inch AMOLED display with MediaTek's Helio P90 processor running under its hood. The other two models carry a vertical structure camera. Also, it has been confirmed that Noise-canceling headphones will also be launched along with them. The Reno2 will have 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage onboard.
